Carmen Villarma, President & CEO, founded The Management Group, Inc. in 1985. TMG has grown into a full service real estate company with over 100 associates managing 14,000 residential and commercial properties in Washington and Oregon. Carmen is actively involved in all aspects of the Company’s operations. She was awarded the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1998 and The Management Group, Inc. earned the Accredited Management Organization credential (AMO). Only 15% of management firms across the nation achieve the standards and ethics to earn this accreditation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). TMG is an active member of the MMHA, Metro Multifamily Housing Association and Carmen has participated numerous times on their Apartment Report expert panel. In 2008, Villarma was honored as the Woman Executive of the Year by the Portland Business Journal and selected as one of the most powerful women in Clark County by The Columbian. A dedicated community leader and volunteer, Villarma has served on many boards of directors including Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, Board of First Independent Bank, the Clark College Foundation and was appointed in 2006 to Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire’s Washington Economic Development Finance Authority board of directors.

Denise Dunkle, Chief Financial Officer, has more than 20 years of experience overseeing the financial needs and requirements of real estate investors. Denise directly oversees accounting, IT, human resources and maintenance for the Company with a focus on client retention, staff education and career development. She is also responsible for overseeing new technology integrations to improve and enhance operations. Along with her expertise and innovation in strategic planning, Denise understands the critical need for dynamic business partners to enhance the results delivered to the client. As a result, she has developed many business partnerships for the benefit of the company and client.

Michelle Underwood, Regional Vice President, has worked at The Management Group for nine years. She has worked in the industry for over 15 years. She has vast experience with Master Association management, and has managed portfolio in Oregon, Washington, and California. She has managed a portfolio over the years at times ranging to over 100,000 homes within large master association communities. She is a proactive professional, and actively enhances her skill set through ongoing education within the industry through the Community Association Institute.

Kim Braaten, Association Community Manager, brings 10 years of property management and eight years in community association management to TMG, Inc. She has a strong bookkeeping background, with more than 22-years of experience as an office manager/bookkeeper for a self-owned small business. Kim has successfully completed CAI courses M-100 through M-206 and is a member of CAI & OWCAM. As a resident of Vancouver, WA, Kim’s personal interests include special education and special needs citizens.

With TMG since 2008, Dominica Culver has a strong administrative and customer service background with experience in office management. Previously, Dominica served as an executive administrative assistant before transitioning into her role as community manager. Born in Eastern Oregon, Dominica was raised in the Willamette Valley.

Tovia Cuty, Association Community Manager, brings over 15 years experience in property management. She joined TMG in October 2011. Tovia has managed multi-family communities from 150 to 800 units. She has strong financial, management and customer service background. Her experience includes audit and compliance training. Tovia has completed the M-100 training course and is a member of the WACAI chapter.

Hired by TMG, Inc. in 2001, Lynda DuLong serves as the executive manager for Oregon and Washington community management. Prior to coming onboard with TMG, Inc., Lynda’s background included working for a builder in corporate sales and in marketing. She is the current chairperson on Community Association Institutes (CAI) Social Board, holds a Fair Housing certification, is certified in CAI-M100, a member of the Beaverton Chamber of Commerce and a former member of Oregon Washington Community Association Management (OWCAM). Lynda’s education includes a degree in business management; she relocated to Portland, OR, from Hampton, VA, in 1998.

Sandee Enbysk, Community Manager, has been an employee at TMG, Inc., since 2008. She has more than eight years of experience as a real estate broker, six years of property management and resort management experience, and a strong sales background.

Diana Marie Ferguson, Property Manager, has been employed in property management for over 16 years. She has worked in both the Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, markets and has managed properties up to 214 units.

Born in Covina, California, Diana Marie has lived in the Portland/Vancouver area for 37 years. She has three daughters, is an avid bass guitarist, and spends a great deal of her spare time with her horse that her daughter rides in parades, rodeos, and gaming events like barrel racing. Diana Marie is a graduate of Business Computer Training Institute and Western Business College.

Jorge Ferro, RMP, has been in property management for more than 25 years. His tenure at TMG Inc. includes 14 years of service. Jorge was born in Mexico City, grew up in Puebla, Mexico and has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Americas.

Jorge became a member of NARPM®, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, in 1997 and acquired his RMP, Residential Management Professional, designation in September 2001. NARPM® designations are earned with a combination of property management experience, NARPM® and industry education, and service to the association through volunteer activities.

In his spare time, Jorge enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years, Susan, and their two grown children. He also enjoys culinary classes, Formula 3 racing, video editing, photography, skydiving and soccer.

Amanda Holpuch, New Business Specialist, originally started with The Management Group in 2007. She is a licensed Broker in Washington and a licensed Property Manager in Oregon. Amanda specializes in new client relationships in both states. She works directly with the new owners during the process of renting their homes.

Amanda is a Vancouver native. In her spare time Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, son and Yorkie.

Hired by TMG, Inc. in 2013, Debbie has four years’ experience in High Rise Property Management, and Commercial Lease Management. She has over 30 years’ experience with Real Estate Title and Escrow Services and Office Management. Prior to coming on board with TMG, Inc., Debbie’s background includes being a former member of the Beaverton and Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, Home Builders Association, Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors and Oregon Washington Community Association Management (OWCAM). Debbie’s education includes a degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University and is a native Oregonian.

Jim Parker, RMP, began his career in real estate sales and property management in 1992 and has been with TMG Inc. since 1995. He became a member of NARPM®, the National Association of Residential Property Managers in 1995 and acquired his RMP, Residential Management Professional, designation in 1996. NARPM® designations are earned with a combination of property management experience, NARPM® and industry education, and service to the association through volunteer activities.

In his spare time, Jim loves spending time with his three daughters and playing the drums. He has traveled to many international destinations to perform musically.

Cheryl Paul has been with TMG since July 2011. Her background includes working as a multi-family and single-family leasing professional and property manager, and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager of multi-family properties and homeowners associations. She also spent 7 years working for a non-profit agency, managing large facility rehabilitation projects for local school districts and other non-profit agencies. Cheryl is a native Oregonian from the Tigard area and is a proud Tigard High School supporter.

Tina joined the TMG team in December 2011 as a Portfolio Manager. She has twelve years of experience in property and asset management and has managed sites ranging from 22 to 328 units. She has managed conventional, mixed-use and low-income housing tax credit sites throughout Oregon and Washington as well as assisted with construction management and defect resolution. Tina served in the Air National Guard for eight years and received her degree in Behavioral Science from Northwest College in Kirkland, WA. In June 2006, she received her MBA from the University of Phoenix, with an emphasis in Organizational Management. She volunteers her time as a coach and enjoys playing volleyball. With two teenage children, her weekends are spent at football, basketball and soccer games.

Lindsay Wahlstrom, Junior Property Manager, has been with TMG since 2010. She has held several positions since joining the company and is continuing her education to become a Property Manager. She currently assists Jim Parker and Diana Ferguson with their portfolios which total over 500 units. Lindsay graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Political Science.

Janell Marbrey joined TMG in 2011, having previously worked for a national property management company. She currently fills two roles at The Management Group as both a Portfolio Manager of a small group of properties in our multifamily department, as well as our Residential Services Training and Compliance Manager, overseeing training and the continued success of both our single and multifamily departments. Janell enjoys working with TMG’s new and seasoned staff and is always looking to improve policies and procedures to produce better business results and greater customer service.

Michelle Richardson-Blue, Director of Administrative Services, has worked at TMG Inc. since 2003. She came to the team with a strong business background and has become an integral part of the Company’s core leadership. Michelle has worked as an association community manager and assistant community manager, prior to being promoted to director of administrative services. Michelle’s responsibilities include training and supervision of the TMG Inc. administrative team, with an emphasis on customer service and operational functions such as maintenance tracking, database accuracy, and quality control.

With TMG since 2007, Stephanie Martin has a strong administrative and operations background with ten years of experience in the property management industry. Previously, Stephanie’s spent four years in Resort Management working with several international properties as Executive Assistant based out of Southern California. She relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2007.

Darla Berge has been with TMG Inc. since 2010 and serves as the Director of Accounting Operations in our HOA Division. With more than five years of experience in the property management industry, she has more than 20-years of experience in accounting within various industries. Darla has also owned and operated a small business for the past seven years. She is an Oregon native, having moved from Eugene to Portland, OR, 15 years ago.

Jaylin Guerrero, Department Manager for Residential Accounting Services (which includes single-family, multi-family, commercial and construction/development activities) has been with TMG Inc. for more than 10 years. Her responsibilities include operations management, oversight of financial preparation, staff supervision and implementation of service and accounting process enhancements.

Aaron Anderson has been with TMG, Inc. since 2011 and serves as the Manager of Accounting Operations in our HOA Division. His responsibilities include internal audits, oversight of financial preparation, and coordinating audits/reviews/tax returns with external auditors. Aaron has over 4 years of public accounting experience preparing tax returns and performing financial statement audits and reviews for HOA and Condominium Associations. He is a Washington native and graduated from Washington State University in 2007.

Sharon Jutila is a licensed attorney and human resource professional with over 13 years of experience providing advice and counsel to a wide range of businesses regarding all aspects of human resources and employment law.

Her expertise and training bring a valuable perspective to the recruiting, retention, management and development of one of TMG’s most important resources, its people.

Sharon was previously the director of human resources for an Arizona real estate investment company and has been a partner at a national law firm specializing in labor and employment law. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor of arts in advertising, and received her Juris Doctorate degree, Order of the Coif, from the University of Oregon School of Law.

John brings over 20 years of data networking support and expertise to The Management Group as the sole technician to staff, local and remote offices of the company. As the Director of MIS, supervision and maintenance of all servers, workstations, routers, phones and other items keeps this company up and running to serve their clients and customers with reliable communication and data resources. Offline, John is very involved with his family, church and friends. Having seven children and 14 grandchildren keeps his off hours pretty full. Keeping up with the latest developments in his chosen vocational field tends to fill the spare time.

Joanne brings over 17 years experience in Graphic Design for both web and print, marketing, social media marketing and brand as well as SEO. Her talents are used in all of our advertising for both online and printed media here at TMG working in our Vancouver office. Joanne is also the Marketing and Media Specialist for the Battle Ground Village, Bone’s Steakhouse and Distinctively Home interiors. Prior to working at TMG Joanne ran (and still currently runs) her own Graphic Design and Marketing company JOW Graphics.

A native to the Pacific Northwest, Troy Amundson has over twelve years of experience in property management dealing with multi-family, single family, commercial, and condominiums associations.

Prior to property management, Troy worked in construction, with a strong background in both residential and commercial construction and remodeling.

A lifelong Pacific Northwest resident, Kerry brings to us at TMG the experience of 25 years in the construction industry and a decade of successful business ownership. Focusing his career on property management since 2010, he is able to provide the services needed to maintain and improve the Multi Family properties in our portfolio.
